As a member of FIPRESCI (International Association of International Film Critics) sat on critics juries at film festivals in Cannes, Toronto, Venice, Moscow, Amsterdam and Chicago. Co-founder, Vice-President/Secretary of Toronto Film Critics Association. Author of The Great Dictators (Guernica Editions) and Reel Canadians (Guernica Editions).
