Biography:
Ben loves movies. Not in an unnatural way, but he?s been a big fan of the big screen since he was a wee lad. Former street press writer (Rip It Up and Onion magazines, Adelaide) and sub-editor Ben broke into film writing by being the first film editor at South Australia?s The Advertiser newspaper. Four years of reviewing, interviewing and breathing film led to his becoming editor of Empire Online, Empire magazine?s website. He has contributed articles to the Sunday Mail in SA, and FHM magazine, and has weekly radio spots including The Edge FM Sydney and 2CC Canberra. He has also been a film commentator for 5AA in Adelaide, ABC Radio National, and JJJ. Ben has been a selection judge for the Shorts Film Festival, and SA Short Screen Awards.
