Biography: Prairie graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University and is the mother of twin sons. She is a multimedia journalist online, and in print and radio. She has written articles and poems here and internationally, and aspires always to the excavation of the lyrical muse in journalism and the poetry in history. Prairie also has two published poetry collections, including Arguments With America (Pemmican Press), and Legends (John Brown Press).
