Biography:
I am a film critic based in Europe and the USA. I cover international film festivals such as Venice, Cannes, Udine Far East Film Festival, Göteborg, Stockholm, San Francisco Créteil Films de Femmes and Cineffable (Paris). My specialty is world cinema, festival films and film critical ideas and feminist film criticism. I have written extensively about Maya Deren on the creative use of cinematography and am invited to lecture about her work around the world.
