David Warner Trivia

English actor, David Warner, suffered multiple fractures to both ankles in childhood. These left him permanently impaired, including being unable to run. Director Nicholas Meyer was unaware of this when he cast Warner as Jack the Ripper in the 1979 H.G.Wells sci-fi thriller "Time After Time".A pivotal chase scene with Malcolm McDowell had to be re-written, filmed mainly in long-shot & a stunt double (in a wig) hired to do all of the running!

Quotes from David Warner's Characters

    1. Prof.Jordan Perry: What did you expect? They'd come out quoting 'Macbeth'?
    2. Shredder: They are stupid!
    3. Prof.Jordan Perry: Well, they're not stupid, they're infants.
    4. Rahzor/Takko: [hits Rahzor on the head] BANG!
    5. Prof.Jordan Perry: Okay, they are stupid infants.
