Adamo Angelo Ruggiero (born June 9, 1986 in Mississauga, Ontario) is a Canadian actor. He is of Italian descent. Ruggiero's father was born in Italy, and his mother is Canada-born.
Biography
Ruggiero was born in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, in 1986. Ruggiero has been acting since the age of 7 or 8. Ruggiero has travelled throughout Canada and to the United States for multiple competitions. He has starred in many plays including Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Bye-Bye Birdie, and many others, but his favourite acting job is playing Marco Del Rossi in Degrassi:The Next Generation. On Degrassi, his character Marco is a gay teenager who comes to terms with his sexuality. Ruggiero joined Degrassi in the show's second season in 2002. That same year, Degrassi began to be shown in the United States on The-N cable channel.
Personal life
Ruggiero enjoys tennis, smimming, watching movies, and listening to music bands such as Medeski, Martin & Wood, John Butler Trio and Jerry Garcia Band. He is very good at golf. He has a big collection of hats and shoes. Ruggiero has a cat named Truly and one older brother, Adriano. Ruggiero also loves to shop, debate and negotiate. If he were not an actor, he would like to be a lawyer. Nicknamed Fez, people think he looks like Fez (Wilmer Valderrama) from That '70s Show. He has not revealed his sexuality, one of the most debated topics about him, to his fans.
