Akira Lane is a successful Asian American nude model and actress of Hawaiian and Okinawan heritage.

Lane is bilingual and fluent in Japanese and English, and graduated San Diego State University with a B.A. in International Business.

She is known as one of the few people that personally interacts with her fans via e-mail and goes to conventions to meet her fans personally, giving her the reputation as one of the most accessible models in her industry.

Biography

During her youth, she lived in Okinawa, Japan with her parents. Her mother was Japanese and her father was Hawaiian.

She attended American schools in Okinawa. In high school, she became the lead cheerleader.

At 18, she moved to Norfolk, Virginia to attend Old Dominion University. During Spring Break, she vacationed in California and decided to move to San Diego, where she worked at a local plastic distributor while waiting for San Diego State University to accept her transcripts.

After being accepted into San Diego State, she succeeded in getting a B.A. in International Business.

After graduation, she sold financial programs to automobile dealerships and repossessed cars. Around 2000, she grew tired of that job and moved to California's Orange County, where she fast became a computer application sales representative.

Interestingly enough, her career began later in 2000 when, on a dare and slightly intoxicated by Tequila, she posed for a male friend who posted the pictures to an online forum.

Since then, she began modeling, eventually springing into the spotlight with the 2002 issues of the adult magazines Playboy (June) and Sexual Prime (December).

She also runs the Pantyhose Lane website, an adult website specializing in pantyhose pornography.
