Alex Fong (æ?¹å??ç?³, born February 26, 1980) is a professional swimmer-turned-actor and singer based in Hong Kong, nicknamed "Little Flying Fish" for his swimming achievements. As of 2005, he holds several Hong Kong swimming records. He first represented Hong Kong at the age of 11. He also represented Hong Kong at the Sydney Olympics in 2000, but failed to reach the finals. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Hong Kong. He caught the attention of record executives with his popularity amongst teenage girls and was officially made a singer in 2001. With his wonderful voice and handsome features, Alex Fong had made it into the hearts of many teenage girls in Hong Kong and world-wide.

Besides releasing albums and filming movies, Alex Fong is also the host of TVB's hit cooking comedy show, "Beautiful Cooking", along with Ronald Cheng and Edmond Leung.

Alex Fong has been rumoured to be dating Gillian Chung (one out of two members of pop group Twins), Stephy Tang and Theresa Fu(former members of former pop group Mini Cookies). Alex Fong had been rumoured to be two-timing Gillian Chung with Stephy Tang, yet Alex Fong fans most enthusiastically support the AS (Alex Fong & Stephy Tang) couple.

Alex Fong and Stephy Tang were onscreen couples for a long period of time with their most recent work being the movie 'Marriage With A Fool'. They had sung 3 duets together in the past 2 years: 好å¿?好報, 好好æ??ç?± & å??å??â?§æ?? (Marriage With A Fool theme song). Alex also sang the è?ªæ¬ºæ¬ºäºº duet with Theresa Fu in 2005 for a commercial.

Before the rumours with Gillian Chung, Alex had a healthy image; he was always known as a quiet good boy. However, after the Alex-Gillian incident, some people now think of Alex as a bad, playboy alongside with Ronald Cheng who was rumoured to be in a relationship muddle with Charlene Choi (Twins) and Miriam Yeung. Reasons for this sudden change of thought may be due to certain magazine articles reporting rumours that when Alex and Gillian were 'together' Alex often told Gillian to skip work and go places with him. The two-timing rumour with Stephy may have also played a role in the bad boy image.
