Alice Hirson (born March 10, 1929 in New York City) is an American actress best known for her roles on television.
She appeared regularly in soap opera with roles as Stephanie Martin The Edge of Night, as Marcia Davis onSomerset, and as Eileen Riley Siegel #3 on One Life to Live.
Later in her career, she had a recurring role in the prime-time drama Dallas as Mavis Anderson.
Her most famous role is probably that of Lois Morgan, the mother of Ellen DeGeneres's character in the sitcom Ellen.
