Alison Doody (born November 11, 1966 in Dublin, Ireland) is an Irish actress and the youngest of three children.
She is probably best known for her portrayal of Dr. Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and Jenny Flex in the James Bond film A View to a Kill.
She was married to Gavin O'Reilly (1994-2006), CEO of the Independent Group of Newspaper in Dublin. They have two children, and live in Dalkey, a suburb of Dublin in Ireland.
She was forced to withdraw from the role of Éowyn in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings when she became pregnant. Miranda Otto took over the role.
Alison Doody also played alongside Patrick Swayze in the television movie adaptation of King Solomon's Mines.
