Andrew Divoff is an actor who was born on July 2, 1955 in San Tome, Venezuela. He has played many villains in film and on television and is best known for playing the nefarious Djinn in the first two films of the Wishmaster series. His films range from Another 48 Hours, The Hunt for Red October, and Toy Soldiers.
Andrew Divoff's TV guest appearances range from The A-Team, JAG and Highlander: The Series. On Highlander, Divoff appeared in the 1st season episode as a mortal named Bryan Slade and in a 5th season episode as an Immortal named Gavriel Larca.
He had a brief cameo on Lost as a man with an eyepatch who establishes brief visual contact with Locke and the other castaways. It it expected that he will reprise that role.
Divoff can speak nine languages: English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Romanian, Catalan, Portuguese and Russian.
