Anita Barone (born 25 September 1964 in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American actress. She currently stars in the Fox sitcom The War at Home.
Biography
Education
Barone earned her BFA from the University of Detroit, followed by a MFA from Wayne State University.
Career
Previously, Barone appeared in the fourth-season Seinfeld episode "The Shoes" as Gail Cunningham, a chef who wanted Elaine's shoes. She also briefly played Carol Willick on Friends. Barone starred on The Jeff Foxworthy Show for the first season but was replaced by Ann Cusack during the second season.
Barone co-starred in the sitcom Daddio.
Barone has worked for GCap Media occasionally.
Barone was the recipient of the 2005 Methodfest best supporting actress award for her work in "One Last Ride".
Personal
Barone's spouse is Matthew Glave, with whom she has two children, Madeline and Roxanne.
