Anne Haney (Born: March 4 1934,Died. May 26 2001 of heart failure, aged 67) was an American actress. She was married to John Haney, until his death in 1980, and with whom she had a daughter named Melissa.
She began her acting career soon after her husband's death. She met him at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she had been studying drama, radio and television. After his death, she moved to southern California.
She appeared in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode The Survivors as Rishon Uxbridge, and later appeared as a Bajoran arbitrator in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Dax". She was a regular guest-star during the syndicated run of Mama's Family, playing Thelma Harper's nemesis, Alberta Meechum. She also guest starred in The Golden Girls and Columbo.
