Anthony Caruso (born 7 April, 1916 in Frankfort, Indiana, United States; died 4 April, 2003 in Brentwood, California) was a character actor in over 100 American films, usually playing villains.
Though of Italian ancestry, he often portrayed Eastern European, Greek, Indian, Arab, Persian, Latino and Native American characters.
Trained at the Pasadena Playhouse where he befriended actor Alan Ladd, who got him work in 12 of his film features.
