April Margera (born March 28, 1956 in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, United States) aka "Ape" to fans of MTV's Viva La Bam, Jackass, and the CKY videos. April is the mother of Viva La Bam host Bam Margera, CKY drummer Jess Margera, and is married to Phil Margera. April is a hairdresser by trade and drives a PT Cruiser known to CKY Crew members as the "PT Loser". Though she is often portrayed as a constant complainer of her sons' actions, sometimes she encourages them. Also, her initial horror at damage done to her home by pranks has been somewhat overplayed, as MTV compensates the Margeras for all damage done in the course of the show, in addition to paying them handsomely. She has, in fact, participated in several pranks, even being the instigator of several, especially if Don Vito was the intended target. This stems from Don Vito eating the top of the wedding cake at her marriage to Phil Margera, something for which she has never forgiven him.
