Barbara Albert (Vienna, 1970) is an Austrian writer film-producer and film-director.
She studied filmmaking in the Wiener Filmakademie. Her first film, known to a larger audience is Nordrand, where she describes the reality of Yugoslavian children in Vienna.
She has the production company Coop 99 with Jessica Hausner and Antonin Svoboda among others.
