Bey Logan (born 1963) is a respected expert on Asian cinema, particularly Hong Kong action cinema. He is also notable as a screenwriter and as a martial artist who has had (usually minor) roles in a number of films, including The Twins Effect.
He is the author of Hong Kong Action Cinema, an introduction to subject, and has also provided the DVD audio commentary for a number of Hong Kong movies released in the UK.
Biography
He was born in 1963 in Stamford, England.
He has been based in Hong Kong since 1995.
In 1996 he married Ponnie Leung, and they had three children together before getting divorced in 2004. He attributes his conversion to Buddhism to his wife.
