Robert Zemeckis and Jim Carrey Team Up for "A Christmas Carol"
We haven't had a major (or good) adaptation of "A Christmas Carol" for a while now. Specifically, it's been 15 years since "The Muppet Christmas Carol." Well, good things come to boys and girls who wait: Empire reports Robert Zemeckis is prepping to film the classic Charles Dickens novel with Jim Carrey.

Razzie Nominations Announced; Easy Targets Run for Cover
Courtesy of their official site come the annual Razzie Awards Nominations ... or as I like to call them: The Amazingly Obvious Fish in a Barrel Nominations in Which We Savage People We Don't Like, Regardless of the Quality of Their Work. Oh, and it seems the Razzers have decided to branch out an include a "Most Tiresome" category, which I happen to find pretty ironic.

Critical Consensus: Jet Li Gets Fresh with "Unleashed"
"Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" will dominate headlines next week, but this week, it's all about kicking and screaming in one form or another. First off, Jet Li does a lot of kicking and screaming, as well as punching, in the action drama "Unleashed," co-starring recent Oscar winner Morgan Freeman. Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda do their fair share of screaming and baring their claws at each other as potential in-laws in the comedy "Monster-in-Law." There?s also a lot of screaming in "Mindhunters," a thriller starring Val Kilmer, LL Cool J and Christian Slater. Last, but not least, there?s the soccer comedy where Will Ferrell and elementary school kids do a lot of "Kicking and Screaming." Let?s see which of these films critics will be kicking around and screaming at.

Harry Knowles Reviews "Unleashed"
Ain't It Cool News' Harry Knowles has seen and reviewed Jet Li's upcoming actioner, "Unleashed." The movie stars Jet Li, Morgan Freeman, and Bob Hoskins and is about a man named Danny (Li) who's been raised, since early boyhood, like an animal by his malevolent guardian, Bart (Hoskins). Danny regains his humanity when he meets a blind music tuner (Freeman).

Jet Li "Unleashed" Reviewed
According to a long-time contributor at the Official Jet Li website who claims to have attended the Paris premiere, the movie is very violent and that fans may be "surprised by the level of violence in it" because they "never seen him fight his opponents with such rage." However, at the end, this person adds that it is "All in all, the movie all hardcore Jet fans were waiting for since he left HK for Hollywood."
