Bruce McDonald (born May 28, 1959 in Kingston, Ontario) is a Canadian film and television director.
His films have included Roadkill (1989), Highway 61 (1991), Dance Me Outside (1994), Hard Core Logo (1996) and Claire’s Hat (2001).
He has also directed episodes of many television series, including Lonesome Dove, Twitch City, Degrassi: The Next Generation, Queer as Folk and ReGenesis.
He is currently at work on an animated adaptation of the cult comic book Yummy Fur, and has recently completed shooting The Tracey Fragments (2007) in Toronto.
