Bruce Penhall (b. August 17,1957 in Balboa, California, USA) is an American actor who starred on television and in film. He is well known for his role as Cadet/Officer Bruce Nelson in the final season of the NBC hit tv series CHiPs and in the role of Bruce Christian in the 1989 film Savage Beach and in five of the movie's sequels.

Bruce reprised his role as Officer Bruce Nelson in the 1998 TNT tv movie CHiPs '99.

Bruce has made guest appearances in tv shows like Just Men!, The Facts of Life and Renegade.

Bruce is a big time motorcycle rider; he was the World Motorcycle Speedway champion of 1981-1982 and rode for the Cradley Heath (England) Speedway team.
