Bruce Alan Wagner (born March 20, 1954) is an American novelist, screenwriter and director based in Los Angeles. He is known for sending up the culture surrounding the Hollywood entertainment industry.

He was born in Wisconsin, to Morton Wagner and Bernice Maletz.
He's been married to actress Rebecca De Mornay and mystic Carol Tiggs, an associate of Carlos Castaneda.
