Emma Stone talks Zombieland - RT Interview
After kicking off her movie career in Superbad as the high-school hottie throwing the cool party, Emma Stone is rapidly carving a niche for herself as a young actress with good comic chops. Her latest outing is the fright-com Zombieland, in which she plays one of four human survivors (with Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and Abigail Breslin) blowing away zombies in America. Armed with Eisenberg's character's rules for surviving Zombieland, they're on a quest to find a mythical town free of the infestation. Cannes 2009: The Tomato Report ? Critics Cool on Ang Lee?s Taking Woodstock
As Ang Lee's latest, Taking Woodstock, received its premiere last night at the Cannes Film Festival, critics were intrigued to point out a number of similarities between it and Cameron Crowe's Almost Famous. They both involve young men on the cusp of adulthood finding themselves through seminal rock music while trying to piece together a relationship with their difficult parents. No surprise that Almost Famous has become the film used as a yardstick to Ang Lee's latest, as critics struggle to wonder what it is Lee brings to the table. Taking Woodstock is the tale of Elliot Tiber, president of the Bethel Chamber of Commerce, who held the only permit for a music festival in the area and invited Woodstock's organisers to the town when they were denied a permit in the nearby town of Wallkill.

RT Interview: Tilda Swinton on Julia

"The Fog" Sweeps Into Box Office First Place
The third horror remake to hit the screens this year, Rupert Wainwright's "The Fog," beat down a pair of other newcomers to grab the top spot in a rather flimsy box office weekend. Remake of a well-remembered John Carpenter flick of the same name, "The Fog" grossed $12.2 in its opening frame, handily overtaking new movies by Cameron Crowe and Tony Scott.

Wallace & Gromit are Big Cheese at the Weekend Box Office
