Carl Jaffe Biography

German actor Carl Jaffe found it expedient to move to England in the late 1930s. Inevitably, Jaffe found himself cast as Nazis or heel-clicking Prussian aristocrats. His film characters in the postwar years were more sympathetic, but no less Teutonic.
