Catherine Sutherland (b. October 24, 1974) is an actress best known for being Katherine Hillard, the Pink Ranger on Power Rangers from 1995-1997.

Born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, Catherine reportedly won the role of second Pink Power Ranger, Katherine Hillard, after auditioning for the role of Dulcea in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie. She claims she had no martial arts experience but managed to bluff her way through the audition process to win the role, and joined the TV series in the third season. She was and still is to this day, a big hit with many teenage males.

She reprised the role in season four, Power Rangers: Zeo, and season five, Power Rangers: Turbo, and appeared in the movie that connected the two seasons. She has done voiceovers for various characters on Power Rangers since Katherine left the show; the most famous is the female Machine Empire General Tezzla in the Power Rangers Wild Force episode 'Forever Red.' She was set to make an appearance as Kat but the scene was cut due to time constraints.

Although many people believe that Jason David Frank and Catherine Sutherland were tired of their roles on Power Rangers and wanted to quit the show in 1997, an act that also led to the release of Johnny Yong Bosch and Nakia Burrise, this is not the case. Catherine has said in interviews that she was very close to everybody and the end of Power Rangers came as a total surprise to her. She reportedly had to take up a job as a waitress to make ends meet following her release from the show.

She played the onscreen victim of a deranged serial killer in the 2000 film The Cell. In the theatrical cut she appeared as only a dead body, although the DVD release contains deleted scenes of her role as the killer. She got the role in the movie by appearing on the Australian reality show "Dream Factory." (Interviews from this show also support her shock at being released from Power Rangers.)

She is one of the few Power Ranger actors to have appeared nude on film after her role ended.
