Clive Russell (born December 7, 1945 in Hampshire, England) is an actor.
He has appeared in numerous television productions and films including the television series Hope And Glory, Neverwhere, the 1999 version of Great Expectations and the 2001 mini-series, The Mists of Avalon.
He starred opposite Helena Bonham Carter in the critically-acclaimed motion picture, Margaret's Museum. He also guest starred in the last ever episode of the popular BBC drama, Monarch of the Glen.
In 2005 he played Brother John, who was performing a play about paedophile priests at the Edinburgh Fringe, in the film Festival.
He is currently playing Phil Nail in Coronation Street.
