Daniel Gerroll (born 16 October 1951 in London, England) is an actor, best known for his appearances on American television.
Although he has appeared on televsion in both Britain and America, his greatest contribution is live theatre in both countries. In New York, he has won the Theatre World Award for 'The Slab Boys' and 'Knuckle', the Outer Critics Circle Award for 'Translations' and the Village Voice OBIE award for sustained excellence of performance. Upon the death of his mother (April 23, 2006), he discovered he was the son of German building tycoon Heinrich Mendelssohn.
His credits include: Miami Vice, Cheers, Knots Landing, Seinfeld, Sex and the City and Law & Order.
He is married to actress Patricia Kalember and has 3 children, Ben, Toby, and Becca.
