Danny Dyer (born 24 July, 1977 in Canning Town, East London) is an English actor.

After being spotted in his local Sunday School, he was cast in Prime Suspect 3 (1993) with Helen Mirren. He had brief appearances in Cadfael, A Touch of Frost and Loved Up, and made appearances in the television series Thief Takers (1996) and Soldier Soldier (1991). Danny's first major movie appearance came when he landed the role of Moff in the clubbing film Human Traffic (1999). Dyer has starred in all three films by the British director Nick Love: Goodbye Charlie Bright (2001), The Football Factory (2004) and The Business (2005).

He has appeared on stage in both London and New York, notably in plays by Harold Pinter: Celebration at the Almeida Theatre and a revival of No Man's Land at the National Theatre.

Danny appeared in 2002's best-selling video game, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City voicing Kent Paul and in 2004's best-selling game, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. In 2006 Dyer presented a series for Bravo called "The Real Football Factories", an in-depth look at football violence both at home and abroad.

In an interview with Irish media magazine "Hot Press" Danny made a series of unfavourable comments about the Isle of Man, where he had stayed briefly during the filming of Christopher Smith's brit-flick "Severance".
