Dave Mirra (born April 4, 1974 in Chittenango, New York, USA), is a professional BMX rider. Dubbed the Miracle Boy (also Miracle Man), Dave Mirra is the most decorated X Games contestant with 20 medals, 14 of them gold. He has competed and medaled in every X-Games event, and has dominated the BMX competition scene for over 15 years.
The reason for his dominance is his innovative and progressive tricks, including double-backflips, frontflips, triple tailwhips, tailwhip flips, backflip drop-ins, and the 360 no handed backflip, which created mass BMX internet forum buzz and hype for his new company MirraCo. Bikes.
Dave currently resides in Greenville, NC, known in the BMX community as "Pro-Town, USA". His neighbors include Ryan Nyquist, Ryan Guettler, Allan Cooke, Josh Harrington, Scott Wirch, Mike Laird, and Alistair Whitton.

He is featured in the "Dave Mirra Frestyle BMX" video game series, has published a photo-biography titled "Mirra Images", has appeared on "The Late Show with David Letterman" and the "Today Show", was the host of MTV's Real World vs. Roadrules: The Inferno for 2 seasons, was Punk'd by Ashton Kutcher for IRS fraud, and was once one of People Magazine's "50 Hottest Bachelors".
In 2006 Dave Mirra left Haro Bikes, his bicycle sponsor for 11 years, and formed his own bicycle company called "MirraCo." with ex-Haro president Jim Ford. MirraCo. is distributed by Trek Bikes and so far the team consists of Dave Mirra, Australian Ryan Guettler, Mike Laird, Dave Rytell and two SoCal up-and-comers Michael Cleveland and Mike "Hucker" Clark. MirraCo. hopes to have products available by September 2006.
Dave Mirra's current sponsors are MirraCo., Monster Energy, OXY, Slim Jim, DC Shoes, Dragon Optics, Maxxis Tires, Bell Helmets, and SNAFU.
This year, Mirra's consecutive appearance in the X-Games ended in 2006 because of a type 2 lacerated liver, resulting him withdrawing from the X-Games.
