David A. Prior Biography

David A. Prior was a director, writer and producer of over 25 films He was a collaborator, often with David Winters, on numerous Action International Pictures (AIP) films.

His filmography includes Mankillers (1987), Rapid Fire (1990), Night Wars (1990), and Future Force (1990) which starred David Carradine. He often worked with his brother, action star Ted Prior. Despite having kept a low profile, it is suspected that he makes a cameo appearance in the final scene of Invasion Force (1990).

Of Prior's many films, the Hollywood Reporter and Los Angeles Times have suggested that Center of the Web (1992) had the best reviews.
