Clive Owen to Headline "Children of Men"
"Sin City" do-gooder Clive Owen has recently signed up to star in Alfonso Cuaron's "Children of Men." Based on the novel by P.D. James, the story sounds like a pretty cool one: it "takes place in the near future, where mankind has lost the ability to procreate, and the world is rocked by the news that the youngest person on Earth -- who is 18 years old -- has died. As chaos erupts, a former radical (Owen) is engaged to be the protector of the most sought-after person on the planet -- the first pregnant woman in almost 20 years." More...
