David Atkins (born December 11 1955) is an Australian Performing arts actor and dancer.

With Ignatius Jones, David Atkins was the creative force behind the 2000 Sydney Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

He was also the co-creator, co-writer, co-director and co-executive producer of the Australian Musical theatre production "The Man From Snowy River: Arena Spectacular".
