David Johansen Biography

Occasionally billing himself Buster Poindexter, David Johansen is a supporting actor and former lead singer for the glam rock band the New York Dolls. He was also a vocalist for the live band on NBC's Saturday Night Live during the 1986-1987 season. Johansen made his film debut starring in Candy Mountain (1987).
