Dennis Fimple (born November 11, 1940, in Taft, California; died August 23, 2002, in Frazier Park, California) was an American character actor. Throughout his career, he made guest appearances in a variety of TV shows, including Here Come the Brides, Petticoat Junction, M*A*S*H, Simon & Simon, Quantum Leap, and ER. He also had small roles in feature films such as King Kong (1976), Goin' South (1978), and Maverick (1994).
His most popular role was that of the loveable but none-too-bright Devil's Hole Gang member, Kyle Murtry, on the western comedy TV series, Alias Smith and Jones, starring Pete Duel and Ben Murphy. Fimple appeared in seven episodes and remains a favorite of fans of the series.
Fimple's last role was in the Rob Zombie horror film, House of 1000 Corpses as the foul-mouthed Grandpa Hugo.
