Edwin H. Knopf Biography

Before joining the film industry, Edwin H. Knopf worked as an editor in his brother Alfred's distinguished publishing house. Edwin became a leading actor on Broadway and in Germany in 1920; by 1928 he had become a successful theatrical producer and decided to move to Hollywood where he began working as a director and a screenwriter.
