Elaine Cassidy (b. December 31, 1979) is an Irish actress.
Cassidy was born in Wicklow, Ireland. Her first role was as Pinocchio in a school play when she was five. In 1996 she was nominated for the Most Promising Actress at the Geneva Film Festival for her role in The Sun, the Moon and the Stars. Her big break in the starring role of Felicia's Journey with Bob Hoskins. She won the award of Ireland's Best Actress in 2003 for her role as Runt in Disco Pigs. She is also a stage actor and will appear in The Crucible with the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2006. In addition to her acting, she appeared in Coldplay's music video for "The Scientist".
