Ellen Weston, a film, stage and television actress, television producer and former Head Writer for The Guiding Light (2003-2004).

She was born Ellen R. Weinstein on April 19, 1939 in NYC. She married Ami Hadani on September 8, 1963. It is not clear if the marriage remains intact or if it was dissolved, or if the couple had any children.

She appeared on Broadway in Toys in the Attic, A Far Country, and Mary, Mary, among many other productions.

She appeared on many television programs, most notably Another World and The Guiding Light, where she was appointed Head Writer in 2003, but was removed one year later due to the fans' dislike of her storylines.

She also appeared on The Young and the Restless, Wonder Woman, Baretta, Ellery Queen, The Bob Newhart Show, Barnaby Jones, Kolchak: The Night Stalker, Harry O, Bewitched, Night Gallery, Mannix , Bonanza and S.W.A.T.
