Eric Peterson (born May 14, 1946 in Indian Head, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian actor, married to education activist, Annie Kidder, spokesperson for People for Education. Peterson is also brother-in-law of actor Margot Kidder.
He has played roles on many Canadian drama and comedy television series. His most notable roles to date include that of Leon Robinovitch on Street Legal, Judge Malone on This is Wonderland and Oscar Leroy in Corner Gas. He is also a noted theatre actor, who is closely identified with the play Billy Bishop Goes to War. He played the role of Tommy Douglas in both Trudeau and Trudeau II miniseries'.
He once guest starred on Sesame Park as Old King Cole.
