Chinese actress Feihong Yue (her name frequently anglicized to Faye Yue or Faye Yu) appeared in features throughout the '80s and '90s before achieving international crossover success with a prominent role in Wayne Wang's gentle drama A Thousand Years of Good Prayers (2007).
