Raised on the island of Jamaica, she is a classically trained ballerina who beganto dance at the age of 4. She received several scholarships to highly revered danceschools, and trained extensively with Mikhail Barysnikov. At the age of 17, whilerehearsing for the ballet 'Giselle' at The Miami Conservatory, Fiona severelyinjured the lower portion of her spine, thus ending her illustrious career as aprima ballerina. Now, as the Vice President of Business Development, Nite OwlProductions, Ltd., she is an Emmy nominated actress with an extensive list ofcredits in television, film and theatre. She recently created and developed asyndicated talk show, 'Tea With Fi', for the Romance Classics cable network (WENetwork) and served as both the executive producer as well as the host of the show.She is currently a principal actress on the ABC Daytime Drama 'One Life to Live'playing the role of Gabrielle Medina. Fiona is also the CEO and Founder of GrundgieProductions, Inc., an entertainment based production company located in New YorkCity. She has developed and created a number of television shows. She has alsodeveloped scripts and plays for various production houses.
