Gabriele Muccino (born May 20, 1967 in Rome, Italy) is a successful Italian director. Muccino gained success with films such as L'Ultimo bacio and Ricordati di me. He is currently making a switch to directing Hollywood films. The Pursuit of Happyness, starring Will Smith, is scheduled to be released in 2006. He is also in pre-production of a new film, A Little Game Without Consequence, starring Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz.
He is the older brother of actor Silvio Muccino.
