Gary Sandy (born December 25, 1945) is an American actor. Born in Dayton, Ohio, he is a graduate of Fairmont High School in Kettering, Ohio. He later attended Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City.
He is best known for his starring role as program director Andy Travis on the classic TV sitcom, WKRP in Cincinnati.
