Gavin Harrison (b. May, 1963 in Harrow, North London) is a member of the British progressive rock band Porcupine Tree, in which he plays drums and percussion. Harrison has authored two instructional drum books entitled Rhythmic Illusions and Rhythmic Perspectives. He also wrote and produced his own instructional DVD's, Rhythmic Visions and Rhythmic Horizons, at his home studio.
Gavin Harrison quietly released his solo album Sanity & Gravity in 1998 to some critical acclaim.

Snares- varies; usually main is 14" (Remo Emperor X heads) with an aux 12" (Remo Ambassador heads) to the left of the hi-hat
