Ger Ryan is an Irish film and television actress, whose credits include Queer as Folk (the United Kingdom version), The War of the Buttons (the 1995 Irish version), The Van, Moll Flanders, Driftwood, A Love Divided and Intermission.
Twice nominated for a Royal Television Society Award for Family (BBC) and Amongst Women(BBC), three times nominated by IFTA for Amongst Women(BBC), Intermission and The Return she is also a recipient of a Belfast Telegraph EMA Award in for her work on A Place with the Pigs and Song of the Yellow Bittern. Ger has worked extensively in Theatre, Television and Film. Her work includes Frozen, Colder, Fat Friends, Juno and the Paycock, Tejas Verde,The Street, Sinners,Intermission, A love Divided, The Commitments, Clocking off, Oliver Twist, The Return, Kavanagh QC etc. Her most recent work is STARDUST (RTE) shown on 12th and 13th February 2006 on RTE. Soon to be seen on THE STREET (BBC) with Timothy Spall in the Spring (2006).
