Heigl Joins Berlanti's Life as We Know It
Katherine Heigl has signed on for "Life as We Know It," a Greg Berlanti-directed drama, gearing up at Warner Bros., about "two single people who suddenly become caregivers to an orphaned girl after the parents, their mutual best friends, are killed in an accident."

Although he helmed the feature film "The Broken Hearts Club," director Greg Berlanti is probably best known for creating two rather popular series for The WB ("Jack & Bobby" and "Everwood"). But New Line Cinema thinks it's time for Greg to head back to the movie houses, which is why he'll soon be directing the comedy feature "Bridge and Tunnel."
