Ian McCrudden Biography

Ian McCrudden got his start at Stanford University, where he received the Golden Medal for writing and directing. His production of Night Baseball won the National College Theater Festival, and Stanford University Press published his thesis on Samuel Beckett. Ian has directed several films including most recently Anita O' Day: The Life and Jazz Singer; Islander (Philip Baker Hall) , Trespassers (Michelle Borth, Alex Feldman), The Big Day (Julianna Margulies), Mr. Smith Gets a Hustler (Alex Feldman, Larry Pine) and Trailer - The Movie. He has directed numerous original plays in the US and abroad and is the author many screenplays including, "Cigar Diaries", "Cowboys and Indians", and the play "Man of the House".Ian has worked collaboratively on many of his film's scores, and his songwriting grew out those sessions. His debut album, "Start Over" from Kayo Stereophonic, will be released worldwide March 2007.
