Isabel Gillies (born February 9, 1970) is an actress living in New York City. She received a BFA in Film from New York University in 1992.
She plays Elliot Stabler's wife, Kathy, in Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. She appears in the episodes: "Blood", "Home", "Risk", "Popular", "Countdown", "Wrong is Right", "Nocturne", "Chat Room", "Uncivilized", "Hysteria", "Or Just Look Like One", "A Single Life", "Payback", and "Cage".
Prior to assuming her role on Special Victims Unit, Gillies appeared in an episode of the original Law & Order series, "Bad Girl". She played a murderous inmate who undergoes a religious conversion during her trial and is born again.
In 2000, she played the role of Alison in The $treet (2000).
She played the role of Cynthia McLean in the film Metropolitan (1990). She played the part of Moira Ingalls in the movie On_Line (2000).
