Jack White Biography

Jack White (born John Anthony Gillis) is an American, Grammy-winning rock musician, singer, and music producer. He started as a part-time musician working with various underground bands in Detroit, while working by day as an upholsterer. He is best known as the guitarist and lead vocalist of the rock duo The White Stripes. His popular and critical success with the Stripes enabled him to work with other renowned artists, most notably Loretta Lynn. He is also one of the members of the rock band The Raconteurs.
