Jeffrey H. Wincott (born May 8, 1957 in Scarborough, Ontario) is a Canadian actor and athlete. Born to parents of English and Italian descent, he began martial arts training in Karate, Kung Fu, and Tae Kwon Do during his adolescent years.
Wincott was the recipient of a University of Waterloo scholarship for swimming. He also attended the Ryerson University in Toronto and the Juilliard School for the arts in New York. During his time at the latter institution, he took on roles in television commercials.
His acting debut was in 1980's Prom Night. He is best known for his role in the Night Heat television series, which aired until 1991.
He is the elder brother to Michael Wincott, and on June 21 2003 he and Charlotte Mangum were married.
