Jennifer Edwards (born January 1, 1959 in Los Angeles, California, USA) is an American actress.
The Heidi Bowl
She is best known for indirectly causing a national scandal when, on November 17, 1968, the broadcast of the television movie Heidi aired as scheduled, interrupting a televised NFL regular season game between the Oakland Raiders and New York Jets. It was this event that changed sports broadcast regulations so that a game would air in its entirety and not be cutoff. The press dubbed this The Heidi Bowl.
Family
She is the daughter of noted filmmaker Blake Edwards and Patricia Walker. She is also a stepdaughter of Julie Andrews. She has a daughter named Kayti and Hannah Schneider. She also has a granddaughter named Shealy. She has a brother named Geoffrey Edwards and stepsister Emma Walton as well as half-sisters Amy Edwards and Joanna Edwards.
She also wrote a 1988 television movie called Justin Case.
