Jimmy Sangster (born 2 December 1924) is an English screenwriter and director.
He is best known for his work for Hammer Film Productions, for whom he scripted many of their most successful and still-famous horror films, including The Curse of Frankenstein (1957) and Dracula (1958) (US: Horror of Dracula). He originally worked as a production assistant at the studio, as well as assistant director, second unit director and production manager. He later turned to direction with The Horror of Frankenstein and Lust for a Vampire (both 1970) for the studio, but with far less success.
